We’ve been working on this for a year now, and I’m delighted to finally be able to announce it! The Falak Unreasonable Thinking Summit, in Association with the EDB, and Supported by Tamkeen, is a 2-day forum on innovation, disruption and out-of-the-box thinking.
The purpose of the summit is to educate and inspire the Bahraini business community, especially startup entrepreneurs. Why is this innovation summit called the Unreasonable Thinking Summit? Because of what Irish philosopher and playwright George Bernard Shaw said:
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."
All progress, innovation and disruption depends on “unreasonable people.” It is these unreasonable people that change the world and make progress happen. The Falak Unreasonable Thinking Summit will feature speakers from four different continents who are on the forefront of innovation and disruption.
We’re bringing in academics, entrepreneurs, technologists, venture capitalists and activists with proven track records and deep knowledge about innovation. The target audience for this summit is startup entrepreneurs, university students, business executives and anyone really who is interested and concerned with innovation.
The summit will take place on the 17th and 18th of May, and is absolutely FREE, but you must apply on our website. We’re able to make the event free thanks to our generous sponsors:
Visit Unreasonablethinking.com and submit your application. You will receive an email closer to the time informing you whether you’ve been accepted. Please don’t delay as I expect this event to fill up in less than a week.
Look forward to seeing you there!
